Symphony Stock Manager integrates with Symphony Enterprise and has become the ultimate way of managing the P’s: planning, purchasing, portioning, pilferage and profit. Symphony Stock gives users complete control over G.P, and it allows for the authorisation and tracking of purchases giving managers an instant view of stock that is held, by both quantity and value, allowing them to take a pro-active hold of the business.
Stock Item / Recipe Management
Designed for both wet and dry stock, with recipe management functionality . The innovative Consumption Calculator makes it very easy to see which stock items and recipes are combined to make every Sales Item. The total cost for all the constituent items allows a theoretical margin to be calculated; recipe make-up and selling prices can then be adjusted to ensure that costs are minimised and profits are maximised.
Optimal Recipe Management is achieved by combining the building blocks of Stock Items, Nested Recipes and Recipe Components. In the event that a core Stock Item is replaced, one-click ensures that every recipe currently utilising the original item can be updated to reflect the change.
With the power to enforce estate-wide Contract Pricing, yet simultaneously offering the ability to maintain pricing for multiple suppliers and pack sizes for every Stock Item, Symphony Stock Manager provides a unique blend of versatility and control.
Tracking the movement of stock
Whether it is placing an order, receiving the stock, transferring stock between units or matching the delivery with the invoice, Symphony Stock Manager provides the tools to manage these processes. It also allows for different levels of authority to be permitted against different transactions.
Suggested & Predictive Orders
Suggested orders based on your sales history can automatically be created to optimise stock holdings based on your minimum or maximum stock levels, ensuring you are able to meet demand but at the same time reducing stock wastage.
Multi -site / Multi-location stock
The system is configurable as a multi site stock system allowing stock to be transferred between sites and as a multi location stock system, allowing for requisitions between stock locations in the same site.
Stocktaking
Symphony Stock Manager will allow upto four different types of stocktake; Line Checks, Manager Stock Checks, Period End and Auditor Stock Checks. All work independently of each other, with The Auditor Stock Check being able to override all the lower three stock checks. The frequency of any of the stock takes can be whatever you want them to be.
As an option the robust, wireless Symphony Stock Checker Hand held terminal (HHT) can be used for stocktaking, deliveries and returns, maximising efficiency and saving time.
