SymPOS Mobile is designed to provide the ultimate, flexible service solution. It includes all the functionality that is available in SymPOS but on a rugged lightweight and portable Wi-Fi tablet with a 10 inch screen. Without any compromise, it is fully functional, fully loaded and fully mobile, equipped for busy hospitality and retail environments.

Gone are the days of having to use PDA’s with small screens which make the operation long winded, slow, and difficult for staff, with SymPOS Mobile your screen layouts are the same as on a standard terminal and the display also supports both "Touch" and "Pen" input,  speeding up the sale, improving customer service and reducing staff training.

Multiple Modes of Operation

Online:  Table Service -

With real-time network connectivity, SymPOS Mobile will take the orders at the table and send them through to the kitchen and bar printers, improving efficiency, speeding up service and increasing profits by promoting up-selling opportunities.

SymPOS Mobile date and time stamps every activity, transmitting comprehensive live sales trend and product mix information to Symphony Reporting, allowing the outlet manager to manage the business with up-to-the-minute, accurate information at their finger-tips.

Even if you are out of Wi-Fi range you can still register sales in real-time, and sales data will be synchronized when you are back in range. Kitchen orders will be stored and the POS operator can fire these to the network printers when the Wi-Fi connection is restored.

Once the service session is completed, return SymPOS Mobile to its LAN connected Smart- Dock where the long-life battery will be recharged. Whilst connected to the Smart-Dock, SymPOS Mobile could be used as a static till. A cash drawer and printers can be added to the dock via USB/Ethernet, giving the flexibility of an extra point of service should that be needed.

Offline:  Trolley Service -

Whilst SymPOS Mobile can be connected via Wi-Fi it is equally happy to operate completely Offline, synchronizing its sales data with the Data Centre when a connection is re-established. Sometimes, it’s just not feasible to have Wi-Fi coverage throughout the entire service delivery area, especially when delivering a mobile offer across a large site.

In offline mode, take the SymPOS Mobile terminal to your customers. All sales are date and time stamped, providing a full-audit trail of POS activity and delivering the level of service that your clientele expect.
