MCR Systems boast several clients who are already taking advantage of the EPOS solutions that we provide. Wembley Arena is an installation with 90 POS terminals networked to a back office system, other sites include The Liberty Stadium Swansea, The Royal Albert Hall, The English National Opera, The Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, the SECC in Glasgow and The National Ice Arena in Nottingham.
An entertainment venue may have fast food kiosks, bars, restaurants which all have different requirements that can be met by MCR. Often in an Entertainment venue there will be a window of time such as before an event or at the interval when it is critical to be able to service people with speed and efficiency. Our systems are designed to cater for such events using the Interval Drinks feature, for example.
Another key feature is being able to adapt the Tills to suit the style of different events. For example, the Tills may be programmed for a pop concert one week but the next week the venue may be used for an exhibition or a business conference which requires changes to products and prices. There may also be a requirement for different price levels to operate at different times.
All of this is managed and reported using Symphony software, with all the financial, sales and trend data available to you there. Furthermore, Symphony can be used for reporting real time sales and as a tool to be used in the kiosk areas indicating when stock replenishment is required. Regional Managers and Head Office management can also use Symphony to access reports and their own KPI’s.
