Following a very competitive TUCO tender the University of Leeds chose MCR Systems to install Symphony Enterprise EPoS and the SymPOS Touchscreen application across an existing estate of 27 IBM Touchscreen terminals. The installation covers all the catering and conference facilities with a secondary phase comprising an interface to the SAP finance system and the Kinetics conference and banqueting application. In conjunction with cashless payment partners, VMC who had previously installed the Metro Manager cashless payment system all students and staff can now load to accounts via the internet making use of the existing Web Page Marketing portal used widely across the University for all online payments.

A key factor in winning this contract was the extremely positive feedback from our existing University client base. The University spent a day with the University of York and contacted the University of Warwick for detailed discussions on performance not only with regards to software but more importantly our ability to implement and support over the lifetime of the solution.
