Symphony takes centre stage at HOSTEC 2010

Symphony Enterprise, the latest hospitality EPOS management and reporting system took centre stage for MCR Systems, at this year’s HOSTEC exhibition held at Excel, London, 1st to 4th March 2010.

The latest web enabled software application is designed to control pricing and data management, specifically for the hospitality industry.

The product, Symphony Enterprise, provides central control over large multi site and multi brand venues, controlling a single point of sale device, eliminating the need for the high costs and complexity usually associated with commercially licensed, internally operated software.

The software, delivered over the Internet, is developed to specifically leverage web technologies, and uses MCR’s unique genetic data maintenance tools. Put simply, this allows users to manage individual components of their data records at any level of the corporate ladder.

“Hostec offered us the ideal platform for Symphony Enterprise. The needs of the hospitality industry have changed considerably over the last few years. Clubs, bars, restaurants, hotels – a new one seems to open every week and the rise of the ‘chain’ has meant that sites can often be spread over large geographic areas.

“Symphony Enterprise means you can keep all the maintenance and management of your EPoS systems under control. It really simplifies admin operations, its scalable, resilient, and above all secure,” says Matthew Gatter, director of MCR Systems.

Symphony Enterprise’s benefits include

  • Real time monitoring and control of every EPoS device across an estate
  • Combined control of centralised data
  • Web enabled architecture acts as a control hub for EPoS systems network
  • Data to evolve around a specific trading environment without duplication or loss of links with data’s hereditary parent
  • Built on top of Microsoft’s business intelligence platform
  • Scaleable business management
  • Unlimited user access
  • Software as a service offers a low cost way to obtain the same benefits of commercially licensed internally operated software

Matthew concluded: “Symphony Enterprise is invaluable to the smooth and profitable running of any hospitality operation. We’re taking the stress out of operational functions. It’s a must for anyone in the hospitality game, and by being on top of the technological advances will allow you to stay one step ahead.

“It’s all about being on trend, knowing what your customers want and marketing to them as best you can – quite simply, Symphony Enterprise can orchestrate that for any business and unlock the power of your EPoS information.”
